The Arya Vidya Sabha was founded in April, 1921 with the purpose
  • To Bind the rapidly increasing number of DAV schools into one fraternity and hold them together.
  • To propel their efforts into achieving greater heights in the spheres of academics; games and sports; social, cultural and co-curricular activities.
  • To propagate the teaching of Hindi, Sanskrit and moral education through our institutions.
Programs and Activities:
  • Organizes competitive examination in Dharam Shiksha and Sanskrit
  • Organizes all India Mahatma Hans Raj Aryan Tournament
  • Organizes seminars, refresher courses, workshops and conferences

  • Competitive Examinations in Dharam Shiksha
    The specific aim is to make all education value based. All students from class V to class XII for Dharam Shiksha and from class VI to class X for Sanskrit are invited to participate in these examination. 20 top students in both the subjects are selected for the Bharat Darshan programme and the final special examination for selection of the three top students from each class in both subjects for award of prizes ad scholarships in one year.
